Use a Yupoo album for visible photo and caption evidence. Use a separate Taobao, Weidian, or 1688 page for the listing context it actually displays. A Yupoo vs Taobao, Yupoo vs Weidian, or Yupoo vs 1688 comparison should begin with page roles, then test whether the product identity still matches.
Never transfer price, seller, stock, quantity, protection, or policy claims from one page to another without checking the destination. A matching image is a lead; a stable identity requires several matching fields.
Give each page one clear job
| Page type | Often useful for | Still needs checking |
|---|---|---|
| Yupoo album | Photos, captions, visible codes, size notes, watermarks, and outbound links. | Who controls the page, current stock, transaction terms, and whether a source link matches. |
| Taobao page | Listing title, options, price basis, shop context, and platform terms visible on that page. | Whether it is the same item and option shown in the album. |
| Weidian page | Shop or product listing context, variants, visible price information, and page-specific terms. | Source relationship, current availability, and every claim carried over from the album. |
| 1688 page | Supplier-style listing, quantity brackets, variants, and business terms shown on the page. | Minimum scope, packaging, sample availability, and whether the album represents the same offer. |
These are browsing roles, not promises. Interfaces and terms can change, so record what was visible on the date you checked.
Create a product identity before following the next link
Before leaving the album, record the neutral item name, visible code, color, size or option, album URL, and one or two distinguishing details. If a field is absent, write “not shown.”
After the handoff, compare those fields before reading the new price or seller information. This prevents an attractive listing from quietly replacing the original item.
- Same product type and intended use.
- Same visible code or a documented reason for a different code.
- Same color, size, material, and included parts.
- Images support the same construction rather than only a similar silhouette.
- The source URL and date are preserved.
Run a five-step handoff test
- Freeze the starting record. Save the original URL and selected option before opening another page.
- Name the new page. Album, listing, shop page, search result, converter, or checkout all play different roles.
- Match identity fields. Compare code, title, option, images, and included parts.
- List only new evidence. Write what the destination adds, such as a price bracket or size option.
- Record the result. Mark matched, partial match, conflict, or unrelated.
Choose the next page from the field that is missing
Need better photo coverage?
Stay with album or QC evidence. A marketplace title cannot replace missing construction views.
Need the exact option?
Use the source listing if it shows selectable variants, then confirm that its option names match the album.
Need quantity or packing rules?
Look for the page responsible for the offer or ask the responsible contact. Do not infer MOQ from a unit price.
Need payment or dispute terms?
Use the service that would actually process the transaction. Album visibility does not provide those protections.
Treat a mismatch as a new lead, not the same product
A different code, option set, material, shop, or quantity basis breaks the chain unless the relationship is explained and supported. Keep both URLs, describe the difference, and decide whether the new page deserves its own row.
Do not edit the original row until the mismatch disappears. Silent substitutions are one of the easiest ways to compare the wrong price, size, or seller.
Example: a useful partial match
An album shows a black shoulder bag with code B-204 and two strap photos. A source page shows the same code, shape, and black option but lists two sizes. The album never identifies which size it shows.
The correct state is partial match. The source page adds a size choice, but the selected size remains unknown. The next action is to confirm the dimensions of the album item—not to copy the lower price into the row.
